Nreazon will be creating a Skateboard Deck for The ART of Skateboarding benefiting Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children (TSRHC) & The Dallas Arts, Fashion and Skateboarding Community on Saturday, November 6th, 2010.
The evening begins at 7:00 p.m. with Cocktails, Appetizers & Complimentary Valet at South Side on Lamar. Throughout the evening guests (1,000) will bid on and purchase their favorite artist’s skateboard & other auction items including one-of-kind limited edition hats and shoes. South Side on Lamar will display 175 skateboards designed by either a celebrity artist, TSRHC patient, clothing designer, graphic designer, or a local artist. Hype Skateboards will host live professional skateboarding at the entrance of the event. During the evening The ART of Skateboarding will present their story including the team video and a few words from Honorary Chairman Famed-Artist JD Miller and Professional Skateboarder and former TSRHC patient/Honorary Chairman, Jon Comer. Jon Comer is the first professional amputee skateboarder.
This fundraising event will benefit Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children as well as the arts, fashion and skateboarding community. The proceeds will help TSRHC to continue to provide the highest quality medical care to thousands of Texas children. TSRHC treats children, from birth to age 18, with orthopedic conditions, such as scoliosis, clubfoot, hand disorders, hip disorders, limb-length differences, as well as related neurological disorders and learning disorders at no charge to patient families.
Tickets are $25.00 in advance and $30.00 at the door. Underwriting packages will be available from $1,000-$5,000.
